Washington Square Surpasses 200 Closings

As most condo and housing projects look to the New Year as a clean slate to start over, we at Washington Square enter 2010 already established as leaders in the local real estate market.

To support this claim, we would like to announce to readers that we have now closed over 200 homes at Washington Square. With 204 of our 377 homes closed, our project has now achieved a 54% closed home ratio. And our progress is not slowing down – we presently have 10 more homes in escrow.

Given real estate market conditions over the past couple years, it is an unprecedented feat for any real estate project in this area or nationally to sell more than half of its inventory- much less to do so in just under 2 years.

Mike Nielson, COO of Washington Square, attests to the cause of such success:

“We have not simply built another condominium project; we have built a community that will span the test of time. Our residents acknowledge the benefits of living in a community with vibrancy and life. With over 200 homeowners and a fully functioning/funded homeowners association, Washington Square has truly made its mark in downtown Bellevue.”

Washington Square is just the first phase of Wasatch Development’s multi-use community, known as the Superblock. Encouraged by the sales success experienced since the first phase opened in 2008, our project planners have already begun working with partners on the next phase of Washington Square.

We invite our readers to find out for themselves why over 200 people have decided to call Washington Square home.
